The boxes are frolicking in Magenta Vale. Oh blissful days...

Again, This one's inspired by the process of Margret Olley's pen and ink drawings. I began with a scribble of magenta, then tried to figure out what it was... The pen lines came after the colours. A complete flip in my usual working style.

:happycry: Frolicking boxes.

An interesting way to create such an image, it all works so well.

That exhibition was my saviour.... it was so inspiring. Sometimes I think you get trapped in your own process - and you can't see a way out of it...

i love it :)

i sometimes do these things too, scribbling randomly (almost like mindlessly), it's something called automatism, well not exactly is, but close, principally. It tells you something you don't know you know already, you know? like in the back of your mind? :D really fun things to do.

well anyway, interesting works, these sketches show your charming wit. cheers, mate

Always good to get a finely crafted comment, so thankyou! Yes, just as Philip Glass says that when he composes a symphony, it's like he's uncovering something that's already existed, I feel also like that when I draw a picture. And I feel honoured that I'm the one privileged enough to discover it.

Again, thankyou so much for the comment.
